Rutavala is the best essential oil for restless leg syndrome. I suffer from this almost every night. I was so excited to see it because it has been so hard to get at YL. When it arrived I opened it immediately because I couldn’t wait to smell that peaceful aroma again but much to my dissatisfaction, the cap was unscrewed from the bottle and the entire inside of the cardboard enclosure was saturated with the oil. A good third of the oil is gone. Very disappointed!! But since this product is not returnable, I guess I’ll use what’s left.
smell takes some time to get used to. A little smelly, but as it fades has a beautiful scent.
Helps to relax and unwind for a good night's sleep
I was told by someone that it helps a person sleep better but it hasn’t helped me sleep better at all. The oil has helped with my neuropathy in my feet. When I go to bed they burn - due to chemo - so it does stop the burning. I’ve had to go back to using melatonin for my insomnia. I hear people say the love the smell. It’s not pleasant to me at all. Smells like old stinky gym socks. Maybe it’s old - not sure but I don’t like how it smells at all. It’s a lot of money for such a small bottle of oil. I don’t have restless legs but I can see where it might help as it has helped my neuropathy.

I have chronic pain from a fractured vertebra that took 35 years to diagnose. Had a fusion and that has failed. My inflammation numbers are elevated and I have arthritis everywhere. Pain keeps me awake at night until my daughter suggested this. And it works.The first night, I was yawning within a half hour and asleep in 45 minutes. After a month of use, the effect is now not so sudden, but I still fall asleep and stay asleep all night. This oil is an answer to prayer. It does have a strong fragrance but it is woody and weedy, not foul. The smell is actually welcome now, because I associate it with sleep.
I love this oil. I use it before bed and on extremely stressful days.
My favorite oil that helps almost instantly to get me and the kids to sleep and I LOVE the smell of the ingredients! I reccomend to stock up as this stuff is almost as tough to find as a unicorn. I purchase mine on a well known auction website for a much lower cost.

RutaVala is made up of 7 different oils. I use it to help me sleep. I have a problem with Insomnia and it works very well. I also use Cedarwood with it to shut off my brain. After rubbing the oils on the bottom of my big toes, in a layer effect; I tend to fall asleep in about 15 minutes and sleep great! I would recommend this product very highly!!!!
Great for leg and foot cramps. It worked miraculously by putting a few drops behind my knees and under the feet and it stopped any cramps right away. All you need is a very small amount.
