Blue Yarrow essential oil has an inspiring, earthy scent with a vibrant blue hue that is grounding and calming when inhaled, moisturizing and revitalizing to your skin, and soothing to tired muscles when used with massage.
ABOUT
Grown at the Young Living Lavender Farm and Distillery in Mona, Utah, blue yarrow is harvested from tiny pale flowers and green leaves. The naturally occurring constituent chamazulene turns this plant’s powerful essential oil a beautifully rich blue color during the steam-distillation process. Blue yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is believed to be named after Achilles, a figure in Greek mythology who used the herb to treat soldiers in war, and millefolium, or “a thousand leaves,” which represents the lush, feathery look of the herb.
